About Dr. Gagliardi
I’m Dr. Gina Gagliardi, a postdoctoral fellow completing my residency at CHI. I use she/her pronouns. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and have clinical experience working with individuals across the lifespan who are navigating life transitions, interpersonal challenges, eating disorders, and OCD.
My clinical training includes two years of experience working in residential and PHP settings specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. I have also received practicum training in ADHD management, couples coaching, and counseling with older adults. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns, while developing an individualized approach to therapy.

This approach is primarily grounded in CBT while also incorporating an interpersonal perspective. I believe effective therapy begins with creating a supportive, collaborative environment where my clients feel understood, accepted, and comfortable being themselves. From there, I work alongside my clients to better understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop practical strategies to create meaningful change.

I am passionate about continuing to grow as a clinician and expanding my training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities. I also believe in the importance of community outreach and giving back beyond the therapy space. As such, I have volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeast Florida Chapter, supporting the organization’s mission to provide education, resources, and support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease- a cause that is close to my heart.
